Prayer Group

The Prayer groups at St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Church, Houston are well established and have been functioning for a long time. In fact, the origins of St. Thomas Church can be traced back to the early 1970’s by a prayer group of Orthodox immigrants in Houston.

The Prayer Groups are currently divided up into the following three areas, each with its own coordinators:

1. The Alief/Sugarland area prayer group is made up of the Alief, Sugarland, Richmond and New Territory areas with a total of 71 families. The coordinator for this prayer group is Mr. Stephen George.

2. The Missouri City/Stafford area prayer group is made up of Missouri City, Stafford and Pearland areas with a total of 84 families. The coordinator for this prayer group is Mr. Baby Thomas

3. The Airport/Pasadena area prayer group is made up of Airport, North Shore, Pasadena, Clear Lake and Medical Center areas with a total of 26 families. The coordinator for this prayer group is Mr. K.J. Joseph.
